Cost - the 7600GS is $99 after MIR, a 7600GT is $155. One would expect a 6800GT to be better than a 7600GS.Nutcase said:

To be fair, i've seen figures both ways. I'd certainly prefer an X1800XT myself, though.
An X850XT at $125? Where? I seriously doubt it will drop to that price - it's actually increased over the last few months.
I'm still waiting for some evidence on these two.
Glad you're pleased. I hope the real-world performance shows as much of a benefit.

Exactly, the 7600GS is around $100, where as the 6800GT is around $200, so obviously the 6800GT will be better.
Agree'd, but so far i already oc'd it another 50/30 or so. And i think a 200Mhz overclock on the core is pretty significant.
Yes it has, before i got 70fps for the CSS stress test, and now i get 134fps. And before i could only run NFSMW on medium settings @ 1024x768 at around 30fps, and now i run it almost maxed out @ 1280x1024 around 30fps.

Dude, what are you using to cool that thing? I mean how are you able to overclock that thing so much? How bout a 7600 gt? You think that would overclock even more?
