I am going to get this card, but I have a few questions before I buy...
1. What kind of PSU do I need in order to power this card safely? I opened up my desktop PC case and it says 300 watts as max power on the inside label.
2. I am upgrading from integrated ATI Xpress200 series card, so this new card should be compatible with my computer/motherboard so I just plug and play the new card? Is there any specific procedures I should follow to install new card if that's the case?
3. How does this 8600gts handle graphics? For example, does Age of Empires 3 run smoothly at max graphics settings with little or no lag?
4. I can get this card for $165.83 on Amazon.com (EVGA version) or for 179.99 (XFX version) or for $184.99, (EVGA superclocked version)
Link to the supeclocked version: http://www.amazon.com/eVGA-e-GeForc...4?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1187805166&sr=8-3
What's recommended from these three options, as they all look good to me and fits my budget.
