A few problems

Did you try a single RAM stick in every different RAM slot on the board ?
Could be a bad slot on the motherboard.

Yeah I kinda tried that, not sure about the last 2 if I tried those properly.

But I found out the smell was coming from the 24pin socket on the motherboard and the chassis fans stopped working from the motherboard aswell
