About to order a CPU Cooler

I'm not sure which ones are any good I only used a couple like the V8, Dark Knight, Zalman 9700 and 9900, pretty much all the ones above $40. I need something on the cheap side but something that is going to be better then stock. So here is the ones I have in mind.

Cooler Master TX2

Cooler Master TX3

Scythe Katana

Xigmatek HDT-SD964

I have measured and I now that all of them will fit my case. I have used the Xigmatek HDT-SD964 before and I really like it but I want to weigh my options first.

Just go with the Xig. If you have used it before and it is reliable then why should you choose something else?

No it's not expensive it's only $25 so it is really cheap. I just wont to know if any of the other ones perform better before I order. I will probably order tomorrow so it will be here around Friday.

lol not that cheap to bad it is the wrong socket or I might have bought it for the heck of it.

I'm just trying to keep the price under $35 which isn't hard to do since none of the bigger coolers will even fit my case. I was going to get a V8 but it is .2 inches to tall.

The TX3 is looking really good right now if nobody has any suggestions I'm going to go with the TX3.

I'd stick with the Xigmatek, TX3 looks like it has a bad mounting setup.

Yea I noticed the same thing myself. It seems to have mixed review some people didn't have a problem with the clips and some did.

If anybody has anything to add now is the time. I'm going to order the TX3 tonight. I have been looking at reviews, and youtube videos and I am sure it will be good for my needs.

What is good for 1156 or AM3?

I need to get a CPU Cooler myself, do any of you know of a good one for 1156 or AM3? I'm not sure which type of cpu I wanna get yet, depending on what motherboard I buy.

Any idea as to what type to get?
