Just to clarify, its absolutely not a good idea to put a 1200W psu or greater in a machine and then run it a 20% load as it will be very inefficient and is simply a bad idea economically and technically.

Don't worry, I find this bickering cute...I don't see how it would be inefficient, but I simply don't know enough about power supplies to call you on that.

Most power supplies don't hit efficiency ratings till around 50% load.
