this processor runs at 3.40 GHz with an advanced 800 MHz system bus
I don't see 800MHz FSB anywhere there :P
2GHz FSB is a marketing ploy, Athlon 64s don't use a FSB system it is a HyperTransport

Bobo: have a read at this before you look at advertisements (yes advertisements ... note how often Intel refers to its 800MHz FSB products....ya... that's right.... darn near zero)

:P
heeheehee

I still don't see that it isnt 800MHz, I know that you are probably right, like you usually are:D, but.......

Never mind, it says 800MHz system bus

And I KNOW THAT AMD USES HTT!!!! I was just using fsb because I felt like it

I still don't see where it says that......
It doesnt have to say that on the advertisement. And neither will it because advertisements are made by morons. 2GHz is because of DDR. The clock is 1GHz.

WTF? How about the A64-4000? Naturally that logic fails as Intel doesnt have 4.0GHz chip.

Praetor, they will act as if it was 4GHZ. Intel will come out with new CPUs shortly.

I have 1.35GHZ, but actually it appears to be 2.7GHZ to 3.0GHZ. But hey, as long as it does the job, I'm happy :D

When you find me a chip that "acts" like its running at a different clock speed than it is .. lemme know.

.... and this is me being convinced ....

hey, pc technology could you benchmark your cpu, i wanna see how slow it really is. :)

can you run 3dmark03, aquamark, and seti - see how long one work unit takes. thanks.

New technology, avoid thinking that everything is EXACT
1. Yes and how come AMD doesnt know about this?
2. Processors are designed by engineers. Engineers are exacy.

Benchmark the AMD DDR-CPU? LOL
