Am I doing a Good Purchase?

dont buy that computer few month ago i saw a q6600 500gb hardrive and other hardware for like 700 or 800 i think it was a asus or i would reccomend building ur own

Ok thanks for the help, but how is the 2GB RAM better then the 3GB RAM?
Don't I need a Sound Card too?

Integrated Sound cards are just as good if you are not DJ'ing, Sound Mixing, or anything like that... They are definitely a plus but, you really don't need one.. 3Gb of RAM is overkill, even in Vista... 2Gb of RAM is plenty if you will be running Windows XP or a derivative of it...

kk, I'm reading the Computer Building 101 right now, in the parts you showed me, wheres the power supply

Oh crap... My bad... It's getting bad when someone new to building can point out my mistakes... Sorry dude, one sec...

im also wondering, think i can get any of those things listed for an even better deal? cause its getting a lil more now that the power supply will be added in price

and will i be able to put a sound card eventually if i want one?

is the PC cooler in the power supply? does that take off the cooler element in the previous post?

No that Zalman thing is the CPU cooler, you could do without that and use the stock, but when you get more advanced and learn/want to OverClock, the CPU cooler will allow you to OC quite a bit farther...

2GB can also be set in dual channel.. ;)

So can 3Gb, 1.5Gb per channel or 1 x 1Gb + 1 x 512Mb stick in each channel...

What pieces? CPU? Graphics card? Memory?

You can basically find out if it has it listed. Like "Supports DDR2" memory. Then you'll basically know that it will support any DDR2 memory available. :)

If you're looking for a specific part...
