That CPU is really going to bottleneck the video card. You should really consider Intel.

Really? I didn't think it would thanks! Any suggestions? I do plan to overclock it a little I should probably get a cpu cooler but should I get the 6000+ or would that bottleneck it as well?

if you want to get a intel better then that your probably going to be spending a extra 100 dollors on a cpu, and motherbored, no you dont need a stronger powersupply, that one should be fine

Pretty good setup. I would go with a Gigabyte/Asus or DFI board. But yea a 5400 will bottleneck a 260. If you want AMD go middle ground with both. Get a 8750BE or a 9850BE and a 9800GTX+/4850

Ok I've updated it thanks guys now what do you guys think? Also do you guys think that PSU 550W is still good for that setup??

I'd make the following changes for better upgrading space :):

OCZ StealthXStream OCZ700SXS 700W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Active PFC Power Supply - Retail <------ Great deal and awesome power supply.

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz 6MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor - Retail Well worth the money spent, easily overclocked to 4Ghz+

GIGABYTE GA-EP43-DS3L LGA 775 Intel P43 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail Low price but great board, gets the job done well.

thanks dude, i'm sticking with AMD though

A 4850 is pretty much equal to a 9800GTX+, so two in C/F would probably beat a 260. Yes with upper end cards like Nvidia 9800GTX+ and above plus the ATI 4850 and above you will get a slight performance hit at 8X/8X compaired to 16X/16X. Didnt make much difference in cards lower than those because they did not use up the slots bandwidth anyway.

If you run CF with those cards you will need a better P/S

guys don't push intel on this guy he knows what he wants and I know what he wants isnt a shabby deal

The Phenom 8750 Toliman Tri-Core Processor is a decent processor.

I also second the opinion of Stranglehold. Get the GIGABYTE GA-MA790GP-DS4H motherboard.

Hey guys thanks a lot.. I will get that gigabyte mobo instead of the biostar and also since I do plan on using crossfire in the future what kind of psu do you guys recommend?
