now i know most of you like/prefer intel over amd but im somewhat new to the duo core/ athlon 64 x2 processors and am curious why intel is better if (on newegg) their lowest price intel core 2 duo processor starts at like $120 and the AMD Athlon 64 x2 starts around $50? I meen for budge dual core processor builds is AMD better and then if you can swing it Intel is better if you can go the high price? I'd jsut like to learn some more about them i am open to hear and listen i do not prefer one over the other i am jsut going to be building a computer soon and need to start learning more. Thanks in advance
