AMD is releasing DDR3 memory this month under the AMD Radeon brand.
Any more specifications? Like, speed, timings, etc?

I think it is a good move for AMD to start making RAM. Another option to make money for the company. I wonder if Intel will follow AMD on this road?
No, not that great. But it's a look-see. Lets look and see what our brand(s) name and marketing can do in another area, kind of thing.I've seen 1333mhz/cas9 and 1600mhz/cas11 which isn't all that great.
Adding RAM to the lineup could easily help open doors to oems/builders. More from one place costs less, even if there were no extra incentive from AMD to use all the components they have available.AMD APU/A8 and so on because of the GPU performance. When AMD puts the Zambezi core on it,(even if its just close clock for clock) look out. (The OEM market for it is huge).
