Anyone tried the ASUS G11?

I saw the new ASUS G11 at my local MicroCenter and I am really impressed with the performance and looks of it and I tried it out in-store and I really liked it. I'm honestly considering selling my rig and buying the ASUS G11. Does anyone here have one that would like to share personal user experiences?

Current value of PC to cost of acquisition of new does not compute...

"Blue Bastard" now that's funny. And I am happy with the "Blue Bastard". I just liked the ASUS G11 too. Maybe I'll buy it as a second PC and repurpose my "bastard" for an HTPC...

Even the entry level G11 is pushing close to $1,000.

A. The blue bastard (thanks @Laquer Head), is worth maybe a bit more than half that.
B. Aren't you broke?
C. Identical specs, potentially better power supply and case, $734 vs the $890.

Any questions?

Exactly^^^

@The VCR King It's okay to dream, but everything we know about you on here, and how you present your financial situation leaves many of us questioning where your actually coming from.

In any event.. building a custom machine is literally picking out like 10 parts, ordering them, and installing them in a case.. If you can handle LEGO, you can build a basic gaming PC

Monetary issues asides, OEM gaming machines are usually never good value. You could build something better than this for the same or less money. I don't even know why you'd want this. It's not even like it comes in some sexy case or anything. It's quite average looking. Usually the appeal of some of these gaming machines are the cases OEMs design for them (like the old Acer Predators and some of the Alienware PCs for example). You could build something yourself and put it in a far better looking case than this and have faster components too.

Don't do it!

Pretty much..

That case alone is hideous and you know its 98.999% plastic

The back of this case tells all too much about the quality of the PSU and Motherboard.

It just screams 'LOW QUALITY. CHEAP.'

@The VCR King, it's fun building your own PC and actually I think you need to build your own one day to learn how to do it so you can answer some of these questions you have. One reason why we know most of the answers to your PC hardware questions is because we have been there and experienced some of the problems you've had for ourselves. It would be a good learning experience for you.

Yea, and I've come a long way in the three years I've had this current rig. When I first got it I paid someone just to install my RAM for me because I was too scared to do that, and now I'm installing CPU coolers, and even replacing the whole power supply and re-doing my cabling too.
