Are high end cards with 256mb still good for gaming?

Anyways i reckon it won't be long at all until all new games will be made for DX10 only, so eventhough u've alreday chosen, you might still wanna think about it cos ure gonna hav to upgrade OS to Vista soon anyway.

True. I'm going for a high end DX9 system right now because i don't have much cash and I NEED TO PLAY CRYSIS! Once i upgrade my system, I'll start saving up for a new build when the new games and hardware come out.
