XP has SP3 comin out shortly after the release of Vista..
you will all get it dont kid yourselfs its like when we were all using win 2000 and that was an awesome o/s no reason to change but all of use moved to win xp when it came out why? because its the latest technology
It just takes time getting used toNo, for the simple fact that I hate IE 7 and Vista isn't user friendly. I prefer IE 6. I've tried the Beta and RC versions of Vista and its not user friendly to me, especially when you want to go to control panel and it asks you if your sure you want to run it or not. I hate the extra steps it takes to get something done.....
But then you'll miss out on DX10No. Once XP stops getting updated, applications stop releasing versions supported for it and games start only being released compatible with Vista, it is at this time that I shall return to Linux completely.
I thought the 8800 was the only DX10 graphics card on the market at the moment, and in order to use DX10 you need a graphics card that is DX10 compatible. I don't plan on purchasing anything that high up the market for a long time just yet.
