I recently upgraded my 9600GSO to an HD 4870 1GB (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121291&cm_re=hd_4870-_-14-121-291-_-Product). It's been great since I got it. However, tonight I was playing Batman Arkham Asylum and the monitors received "no signal" after about an hour and a half of play time. I noticed a red LED on the rear of the card was on, so I googled it. I came up with the message that I had a "Critical Core Power Fault". The fan on the card is working.
I've got a 700W OCZ xStream PSU
SB Audigy 5.1 card
2 SATA HDD's & 1 IDE
2 IDE DVD Burners
4GB DDR memory (4x 1GB)
cold cathode kit
1x 80MM case fan & 1x 120MM fan
Anyone know what the problem could be? Maybe I need a stronger PSU?
EDIT: I just read some of the 1 egg reviews on newegg and it seems quite a few others are having the same problem. The 30 day replacement/refund warranty from newegg just ended on the 17th
