I took my pc to a store near my house to run diagnostics and they said it was the motherboard or cpu so i sent them both back and reinstalled them and still my pc gets no signal to the monitor. I tried my vid card in another pc and it works.

WTF IS HAPPENING...im going so crazy trying to figure this out im positive everythings connected ive switched the ram around to other slots ive done the same with the vid card and ive pushed on them hard enough to make sure there in firm without damaging.

I did get the pc to start ONE TIME (this was before i sent the MB and CPU back for a replacement). It crashed after i changed one thing in the bios and now i still cant get it to work. Any ideas??

EDIT::: Best part is when they sent me the replacement MB they didnt sent the lil Bios beeper thing. Whoohoo **** you asus..

Have you tried another power supply?

And Asus or any manufacturer doesn't include PC-speakers/beepers... Complain to your case manufacturer.

no i was starting to think maybe i should get a 600w power supply..

I mean it starts up the fans all spin and whatever the case glows oo lala and all that crap.

maybe ill try a more powerful supply

has anyone used the ram i got for this MB with it before without problems?? please respond if you have any ideas

i just got the motherboard replaced i dont know how it could be the problem twice in a row. And is it even possible its the ram?? Because the first time i got the entire machine together it did actually work untill i changed one thing in the bios and saved it which was the order of which to boot things.

Do you have the case speaker hooked up, get any beeps when you turn it on? Plus that OCZ ram you have takes 2.3 voltage, asus is one of the worse for ram compatability at boot up.

i dont have the speaker when i sent the MB back for a replacement one it wasnt in the package....soooooo i gotta go to the cpu store today to pick one up real fast. So 2.3v? are you saying that i have ot get another ram in there with lower volts so i can boot up the bios then change settings around so i can use the other ram or something??

I was also reading the manual and it says a 600w power supply is recommended. Maybe i should upgrade from my 500w ?

Your case should have a built in speaker that plugs into the speaker pins on the board, if you have another stick of ram that takes less voltage or know someone that does, it would be worth a try.

When it starts up, if you hit the power button a couple of seconds after, does it turn off? If it does, then that means your computer is actually beginning to boot (most of the time.) If not, take everything out and set it up out of the case. If you can get your hands on a case speaker, use that too. It's always good to know if there's anything actually happening.
