I got an ATI aiw 9600xt after christmas. I installed it in my computer.....and ever since I've had major problems. Random shut downs, freezing (mostly in counter-strike)...etc. I am almost positive it is the driver, mainly because theres always something mentioned about DRIVER FAILURE or wrong driver in the error messages and the windows messages that pop-up after the restart.

If anyone has any solutions for this or could point me in the right direction please do so. I have talked to the ATI tech support and that still didnt help.

System....
MB: Asus p4r800v deluxe
CPU: P4 3.0GHz 800fsb 478 socket
Ram: Corsair VS1GBKIT400 1GB Kit DDR400 PC3200 CAS2.5
HD: Western Digital 200gb
Video: ATI "All in Wonder" 9600xt

I did that....i downloaded the latest display drivers, multimedia drivers, and motherboard drivers...still the same thing happened

it only tells me FAN 4's rpm's (2596 RPM)....but i have one fan in the rear, one on the cpu heat sink, one front bottom by the harddrive, and the one in the PSU.

Your joking with those flames right? or maybe the temp sensors maxed out. not too sure about the voltages - wheres praetor? :)

im guessing your mobo doesnt support temp sensing. just open your case and use your hand to feel how hot it is. Open the window to get extra airflow, then test a game.

OK, i also have this little fan ( 120 VAC 60hz 25watts) that i put under my dvd burner, since i have only one cd drive right now, it just fit.....i have it blowing air in.

Cool, the blue led fan is blowing air out right?

(Vid Card) could be faulty maybe - try replacing it?

You think the flames are bad? Check out the -128ºC --- condensation land central :P Of course all this means is that Speedfan cant read them worth shit. Use the BIOS :)

As for your voltages .. um... holy crap, there are some serious issues there
