No way, x1600 and x800 series are more superior, more like 9800 series.

I did a bit if reasearching and found that the 9800PRO is actually superior to the 6600, so thats why i said between the 9600XT and 9700PRO.

yea basically a 9600xt would be about the equivilent of your card. maybe an x600xt... i think they're in the same area though.
either way your card will play newer games (however you'll have to set qualities lower)

9600XT = 6600? I really dont think so. I take the 6600 with double the pixel pipelines with out even a thought over the 9600XT. The 6600 is a whole class above the 9600XT with ease.

6600 ~= x700 is the correct comparison

I actually said in between the 9600XT and 9700PRO, since the 9600XT is slightly lower, and the 9700PRO is slightly above.

And i'd say it's pretty close to the x700SE.

Agh, I misread your sig. I thought it was a 6800, not a 6600.

All gaming video cards from ATI are Radeon series.

7000 series
8000 series
9xx0 series
x300 series
x600 series
x700 series
x800 series
x850 series
x1000 series

and many others, all are called Radeon.

No, id say its not, but only slightly. One of the only advantages that the 6600 has on the X1300 is the fact that it has 8 pipelines and the X1300 only has 4. Most 6600's have a faster memory clock too
