I wish G SKILL had ripjaws in dual channel 6GB kits...

Dual CH DDR3 kits are either 4 or 8GB that I know of.
OMGA, I use both, 1156 is a good socket.
This thread is just spam. Even if there are 2 x 3GB kits it would still be way more cost effective (and logical) to get 4 x 2GB.

you need 6gigs today, 8gigs tomorrow.like what ethan3.14159 said,"still be way more cost effective (and logical) to get 4 x 2GB." 2 x 3 kits are very limited and made by a few. and the reason for this is what ethan3.14159 said.

Dont really understand why you would want that. Probably would not be that popular and would cost as much as just getting two 4gb. sticks.

6GB ram is better than 4GB
Getting 6GB for the price of 4 would be great...
Think my point slipped right on by.

Probably best just to get a 4GB kit and if you feel you really need the extra memory, get another kit. 6GB kits in dual channel are rare for a reason, because they just don't work that well and don't have a real application.
Don't worry. I already had an aneurysm from reading this.Got one of those twitches in my left eye.
