Short of being a super hacker which we can probably safely assume that's not the case (and even in that case, still handleable) it's QUITE possible to lockdown the internet in a family computer. Stop and think about it for a second before jumping on the "you can always breach anything" bandwagon (hint: we can start with a whitelist firewall)

Do you mean a keylogger? Here is a free one that does pritty much what you just described.

You should really check things before posting them, downloaded that to see what it was like, both AVG and norton came up as it was a virus, trojan to be exact. quality post there, thanks, i suggest you take the link down before some unexpecting victim does actually get infected big time.....

lol, does that edit:nvm mean that you downloaded it and saw for yourself.... AV software idnetifies it as a straing of something, not just a generic virus, it has a name and all.

Ya MSN Explorer does have a filter, but that can be bypassed simply by using Internet Explorer.

actually that's not true. My parents have Parental controls on and whatever websites that MSN blocks, when IE loads that website, it says page cannot be displayed.

Firefox and IE both. I experimented with it and MSN does control IE, Firefox, and Opera.

You can also use a monitoring program and blocks websites. Its called wireTap, i beleive. You can use the unlimited time trial, and if you like it you can buy it. It works very nice.

I'd say it would be hard to block it, but get one of the things previously mentioned. I think the best thing to do is if you catch him somewhere he shouldn't by checking history or cookies, punish him and take away his internet priviledges for like 2 months or something (that should seem like an eternity for a 13 year old), and hopefully he won't do it again. Also be careful of torrents and other p2p things cause they're full of porn too, and their filters suck

You can try making a smoothwall with dansguardian mod. It works here, it even blocked this topic .
There si a bypass option so you can visit the sites if you have the password. Also visited sites get logged so you can see wat he saw.
You can edit all the things it filters and it's free!
