one more thing. My first message on this thread was what I was doing when this happened which was downloading about 10 pics from limewire and installed a new program from download.com. could any of those things triggered it?
any ideas why my itunes started skipping really fast just before it when into BSOD

Or I guess you could TRY to cause the same error again, and figure it out that way... its a lot harder, though...They are hardware related errors. Maybe your RAM wasn't dumping correctly and caused the BSOD. The only way to pinpoint the BSOD is to get the error and look it up.
so if my pc is working now, what are the odd's of another one....
its not unless anything happens. bluescreens are to windows as earthquakes are to san francisco: they happen, you get over them, they happen again.god! now you are all shouting different things at me!!! what do i do!! is my pc f*****d or not? lol

Um... Chill?
Your computer may be fine. Use it and report back if the BSODs become frequent or if you have other issues. If you are up to it, re-seat your components (RAM/GPU/Cables/etc.).
