I plan on ordering in a month, all ok? Anything out of date? I havent been on forum in a while and I dont know if theres any new stuff out. Thanks.

I saw that new card, havent really read about it, but its cheaper = worse?

Also, I made a mistake on my copy and paste, its a FX 60 im getting

I agree. The 7900GT is slightly better than the 7800GTX, and alot cheaper.

If you want a better card, then get the 7900GTX.

Get rid of the Raptor drive, they arent worth the extra price

Agreed, i would buy a SATAII 16MB Cache drive instead.
 
If you really want RAID then get 2x 250GB SATAII 16MB Cache. But if you really think the Raptor is worth it then get one raptor and one sata.

People were complaining the they couldn't play Oblivion max settings, it lagged the 7900gt card...

So the 78900GTX is better and cheaper than the 7800GTX, and I can get the 7900GTX 512MB for nearly the same price as the 7800GTX 256MB. Why would anyone buy the 7800's?

As for the Hard Drives, im still not sure on what to get... im kinda slow headed when it comes to 2 HD's. I've always had 1 drive, the C drive, so when it comes to having more than 1 I dont get it. Do I always have to save stuff under the D: drive? or how does it work?

It's called partitioning, what it does is it divides your HDD into "parts". The C: partition is usually used for Windows, but the advantage with partitioning a HDD is that if something goes wrong and you have to reformat the C: partition and re-install Windows you won't lose all your files cause you will have atleast a part of those files on another partition. You only need 1 HDD to partition, but they were suggesting a RAID setup, which involves, from what I've read, two HDD's having parts of files on both HDD's and working as 1 big HDD.

Ok I switched it out for a 7900GTX 512MB, the best one. With SLI, it is possible to go back and add a second card from just having 1 right? Also, is my PSU fine for OCing?

Ok, does anyone mind giving me the breakdown on more than 1 HD? I know that you can have 1 large HD and partion it, but I believe it still uses the same RPM's.

When you 2 or more HD's in RAID, does the computer only have a C: Drive? or 2? I think the reason for this is that they dont have to share the RPM's, so its faster.
 
It shows as only one drive, and gives slightly improved performance in some cases. Take a look at RAID 101 for more info (what you're talking about is RAID0).
