Budget computer build help

Hi, im looking to build a new computer with around $600. Already got monitor, optical Drive, and Hard Drive. I need one that can run decent games like black ops, wow on max setting with fraps if its possible with $600. also live in the U.S area.
 
Do you have keyboard. mouse?
What about os, want 7?
What's the make and model of the hdd you already have?
Where can you buy from?
When will you purchase the parts?

ill be using the comp for mostly gaming purpose, i was looking at something like this, idk if they're compatible with each other tho..

so im mostly looking for at the case, mobo, processor, psu, and ram to be around $500 ish, dont really need the graphic card sinces ill be recycling my old one
 
ok! Having that stuff already helps a bunch.
AM3 on that MB means the cpu socket type and thats AMD's most surrent,,,so the i5 won't fit.
There's better RAM for the same or a tad more.
What gpu do you have?...while we help shop :)

EDIT: is your os on disc? do you live near a MicroCenter?

For the budget you'll bet more bang with AMD.

i got a really shitty xfx 4650 :mad:. actually, include the gpu too, so like $500+a gpu

and yes its on disc
 
Let us know if you don't want to mess with rebates, and let's get some input from other members on this as something better may be found. Keep your 4670 for back-up. Didn't add the ship but it won't be much.

The G Skill is better memory then the Corsair. The Corsair take 1.65 voltage for 9-9-9-24 timing. Pretty crappy really.

Change the mb to one that supports 1600 memory and sli.
Otherwise, get 1333 memory and save with a smaller psu.
Need HDD.
