I have read that hollywood block buster movies have been edited on
Macbook Pros before, and they can only hold a max of 4Gig of RAM.

The movies I am referring to came out when it could only support 4 Gigs of RAM.

Yeah, it also depends what kinda graphics goes into it and etc. As workstation graphics cards can go for over $3000 themselves.
