Build Me A Gaming PC Please?

Its Sage

So I need an "entry" level gaming PC. I want it to run current games well, without breaking the bank. Could someone give me a list of parts that will make a good computer, for about $600? Any and all help would be appreciated :D

Have to agree lovely setup especially keeping the GPU AMD as the CPU ,My only question for the OP is monitor , How many monitors 1 or 3 or do you have monitor/s already.

Case

Motherboard

CPU

RAM/Memory

PSU

GPU

HDD

CD/DVD Burner and Reader

Thermal Paste/Compound

I put a lot of work in this list so you better buy it:D Also, I picked that thermal compound because of good reviews. Tell me if you buy this setup.

You forgot an OS.

To the OP; It's going to be hard to get a decent gaming rig for $600, but I'll give it a try. Here's something I though together;

CPU/MoBo- http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.839448

Memory- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233141

GPU- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161384

Case- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811133180

HDD- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822145531

DVD/CD- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827136240

PSU- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207018

Total=$708 (with mail-in rebates, Total=$668) <--probably the best setup for gaming for under $700. Oh, and trust me, that PSU will power this rig with ease, your only going to be pulling 200-300w max.

byteninja2, you forgot an OS, and I believe that the HSF has thermal paste pre-applied. There's two nice PC builds here, but for gaimg and the price it has to be the second build.

Why would you even spec out a build for $100 over a person's listed budget? People do that constantly, and I don't get it. And for the record, you CAN build a more than decent gaming rig for $600.

Why would you post this? I said $600 for a reason -_-

Oh that rig he/her posted did not have an OS, which is $100 by itself, so his/her rig would of been close to $700 anyway.

Why I suggested this rig, because I was giving another option for you. and you act like I though $800-1000 rig out there, lol, wow, slow down, take a look here befor you go all berserk on me.I posted a rig for $668, $68 over budget, but that $68 over budget gets you a waay better build. But anyways, im not here to argue or anything, just giving you a better rig for the price, GL, and TC.

No flames please.Mine comes to be 700 after os, you start yelling to me about os and then you forget it!

If your buying from Newegg, you should be signed up for eblast specials.
With current special promos you could get something like this. Yes, it’s more than $600, but only by the cost of Windows 7. If you have an os, then it’s right at your mark. Not counting the rebates.
If you want to use the cpu gift card towards the build you’ll have to leave off a regularly priced item and buy it 4 days later. Using the gift card and another $35 in instant deals = $50 from $741(after shipping) = $691 with Windows 7 and before $30 in rebates. If you don’t need Windows it’s $611 before rebates.

There may be some wiggle room if you want a diff case. ^ That's a good one for the price and it needs another fan.

Here's one for $45.

You don't have to get 8gb memory. 4gb is enough if your trying to stay at $600.

Hopefully he didnt but anything yet, because I really don't understand how your build is better. Maybe you can explain it to me -

I suggested the same platform parts and a build that costs the same. Probably less if you count rebates and or Windows 7.
The difference is -
a much much better gpu.
a ps that makes more sence than 750w on an essentially single gpu mb.

Wouldn't a good GPU be a requirement on a gaming computer? Especialy a $600/$700 budget? The CPU would be important but less than a GPU correct??
