zzzz went to order that proccesssor and it says on site its no longer aviiable... but its still on the order list wtf.

yea the price is what pushed me towards it i mean 199 is cheappppp for a 3.0 duel core lowest it found was 289.99

Hehe won't let me either... must be sold out as well :S Only thing I can recommend is wait or go to a local hardware store and try there.

what the E8400 is just becoming over priced adn ahrd to find i ahd it locked in at 199 but now i'm op'in out for a quad 2.4 what can i say its micro's fault!

The Q6600 will give you less of a gaming performance than the E8400. However, the Q6600 is the multitasker's processor. So if you do both multitasking and gaming, the Q6600 should be fine. Try getting the G0 stepping though. More OC-ability, cooler, more efficient, and overall better than the B3 version.
