Buying a Motherboard

hey guys I need to replace my motherboard . and im looking for something not so expensive but good.

This are the things that I have and I need the motherboard to support it.

Socket Type - LGA775
CPU - Intel Core 2 Dual E6600
Memory - PC2-6400 800Mhz
PCI Express
SATA Hard Drive

the rest doesnt matter.

nah i dont care about overclocking mobo. and yea i would like the mobo to have those features. if you can point one out for me for less than 100 it would be great.

Does the motherboard chipset matters? does it have to match ?

I used to have Intel i965, Can I get a Intel P965?

The P35 is a newer chipset, and I would recommend it over the aging P965 series.

Do you mean the E6600? If so, then yes. Although I would re-apply the thermal paste.

alright kool. hey by any chance do u think this mobo would fit a Dell XPS 410 case? because i was looking at the case and the mobo goes on the left side.

I'm not sure, from what I've heard Dell uses BTX motherboards, although I don't know if they do in their XPS desktops.

Hm, from what ive seen on my friend's XPS it might not fit. He has the Q6600 410 and it looks like mATX

I found out that the Dell case is a BTX so I cant use the btx case with a atx mobo. so i have to get an atx case.
