I am buying a new laptop, and have narrowed the choices down to two. Holding me up are a few minor things:
One laptop contains the AMD A10-5745M, and the other contains the Intel Core i5-4200U.
Both laptops have identical internals, except these differences:
AMD is coupled with 8GB RAM, and 1TB HDD, and a 4-cell lithium-ion battery.
Intel is coupled with 6 GB of RAM, and 750GB HDD, and a 6-cell lithium-ion battery, but $50.00 less.

From what I can tell, the i5 is slightly "better", ( I don't know if the turbo boost "up to" 2.6GHz actually is effective or a selling point)
Also, from my research, the APU graphics in the AMD chip is slightly better.
So, for realistic every day use, a user such as myself wouldn't notice much of a difference in these laptops, correct? Or is one definitely superior? I'm not inclined to either side. Thanks in advance.
