as the title says, under 40 dollars. Also, make sure the main thing it cools down is the mainboard. thanks for your help
That's kind of a strange message. Does it tell you any temps? If not try running speedfan or motherboard monitor 5 (may not work with oem machines though)all it said was my mainboard was overheating

From the pics it looks like you don't have a rear exhaust fan (though the pic might be zoomed in too much) which would probably help in cooling. You can search out case fans on Newegg.com or elsewhere - just look at the cfm (the flow rate) and, if you're concerned about noise, the db. Not sure what size fans your case will take; you'll have to measure or post more pics. Another option is to replace that stock heat sink with a better one - this would be the better option if you find that the case temperature is okay while the cpu.temperature is too high.
If that's for the cpu then it's not all that bad, at least not dangerously so.oh, and the program i was using said it was at 50degrees celsius
