CloneZilla copy screw up

I used CloneZilla to clone a dell machine running Windows 7 because the other dell system (different motherboard) wasn't taking my Windows 7 discs/USB drive. The clone operating system took and worked great, but the Windows 7 updates didn't install the correct drivers, SFC /Scannow fails, and using IE to login to the DVR works fails. SO basically screwed up image.

Will a Windows 7 repair disc and updating the Dell driver list fix this? I know CloneZilla copies the existing registry and putting it on a new computer can mess things up, so is there a recommended fix without reinstalling Windows 7?

You can't do that. You can't switch an OS from one motherboard to a different one.

If you want to do that, you should install it on the one machine and then run sysprep and shutdown, then clone it.

Just an FYI to those that might read this. Sysprep only works with the same motherboard manufacturer.
