OK, let me just start by saying that I've just upgraded my system to the Pentium D from one of my previous post.
Alright. I installed my new processor w/ the heat sink + fan successfully. Then I enabled the "SMART Fan Control" in the system BIOS. When Windows loaded I decided to test my new configuration by playing UT2003. I probably was playing for about 10 min. and that's when everything cut off...
So I tried to press the power switch but nothing happened
. I unplugged the computer and plugged it back in, and I noticed that the lights on the network jack were also off which are normally on when the net cable is hooked up. Tried pressing the power button again but nothing
Could this be my PSU that went out, and if it is how could I test to make sure???
My configuration is below in my sig (haven't had time to change it yet) the celeron is a pentium D 925 3GHz, My mobo is an ECS P4800PRO-M...
Thanks for any help
