well, i was working on an xbox and was gonna power it up, but my hard drive was laying on the power supply and it short circuited, frying my power supply and making a nice spark where i plugged it in. no problem there, as i had another power supply on hand. my real probblem is that when it popped, it sent a power surge, which sadly got to my computer and fried SOMETHING, but i don't know what. the xbox was connected to the same 6way power splitter and also to a tv capture card in a pci slot. now it gets no signal from the monitor. i was thinking it could be either a fryed video card or mobo. when i turn on the computer, i hear the cpu fan whirring and the hard drive spinning, but nothing on the screen. any insights or thought would be awesome
