Now that that is out of the way, here is my problem. Please, read the ENTIRE THING before you even START typing a response!
Due to situations beyond our control, my girlfriend and I have been forced into a long-distance relationship. I bought her a netbook on eBay so she would not have to rent a computer.
However, the netbook has an operating system on it called Windows CE 6.0. She cannot connect to a hotspot because the OS is so weird, and I can't figure it out, either. I might could figure it out if I could access her computer using Windows Remote Access, but she needs to be connected to the Internet for me to do that. It's a Catch-22.
I tried googling "How to connect to a hotspot with Windows CE." I get nothing. All I get is information about connecting to a hotspot with XP, Vista, or 7. Occasionally, I can find information about Windows 2000.
So, what do I do? I go to other message boards and ask them about it. What do they do? They think she has some kind of a PDA.
NO! She has a NETBOOK!
She has a NETBOOK!
A F***ING NETBOOK!

What part of "netbook" don't you understand?!
It's not a PDA; it's not a desktop; it's not a hamburger! It's a NETBOOK!
Why is it so damned difficult to connect to a blasted hotspot? Simply connecting to the Internet is not supposed to be this damned difficult!
Can someone PLEASE give me some step-by-step instructions on how to connect to a hotspot using Windows CE?
Oh, and when I say "hotspot," I mean Starbucks, McDonalds, the airport, the library. A wifi hotspot. The kind that you can play online with your Nintendo DS on.
If it helps, here is the exact eBay listing from which I bought this netbook.
