Right ive been trying for ages to get a Video Convertor for flash some programs do it but are trials .........

Where can i get..... wmv to swf Convertor ???

Or what other ways is there to converte into flash format?

can you find a wmv-avi or mpeg converter, pass the video through that then inmport it into flash 8, which has a built in media player tool, then export it

Ok Ok i get you .. i know have the video in avi format so ive so put it into flash 8 and export it .. ok
 
Ive done it in Flash 8 Video Encoder but the file has came out as an .FLV file .... never heard of that ,, and my computer doesnt regonize the file for what program to use it in??

a program called Flix Pro 4 can convert FLV to SWF files.

alternatively email it to me at dragon2309 * gmail.com and i will convert it using Flash MX 2004

right, i didn't exactly explain clearly, then to convert it to swf
press ctrl + f7 to bring up a components window
double click the media player - 6-7 tab
double click on the media playback option
in the properties frame press parameters then launch component inspector
then in the parameters of te box that opens set the url to the full name of your flv video, eg video.flv
finally export the swf file to the same folder as the flv file, then double click to open the swf file and you will have a nice media playback thing with you video playing

Not exactly the most straight forward instructions but they work

Thanks Mate but you have totaly lost me

Press ctrl + f7 where ....on the program or what or just at the desktop where the file is saved
