Core 2 Duo and 8800GTS benchies

The overclockability of those things as I've read before is amazing. Overclocked, your GTS is almost a GTX in terms of benchmarks according to a review site I witnessed. Of course, a GTX can overclock quite a fair amount as well, so :)

I can't wait to see what January/February brings. It's gonna be gooooood.

Don't you have a signature to be editing to what you HAVE?

Anyways, yes. R600's release is slated for ~January. Also slated for release in January is Vista. Also what do you get at the end of January/february? TAXES. I've already stated my bit on this, so I won't muttle Omega's thread any more then I already have.

Well, the "Soon kids, soon:" part makes up for that. :)

AGP graphics card.........can't.......catch....up...Struggling, to get....fancy...benchmark.....POW!!! NO, NOT THE POWER SUPPLY!!! CURSE YOU DDR!!!

So, with your hardware pretty much taken care of inside the computer, when are you going to be investing in bigger inches in the LCD department? That GTS overclocked like that should be able to power a 21, even a 22" LCD panel quite nicely. :)

It makes me wish I bought that LCD at best buy... it was a 22" widescreen for $199.

Right now this is fine, i'll wait until they make cheaper LCD's with higher resolutions.

Correction. Omega has his computer and it's sweet. Ku-Sama has what as of the last 5 seconds he plans on buying in his sig, not sitting on his desk :D .

Omega~ Man your rig is sweet bro. How about some gaming benchmarks? Let us see what that puppy can do in the real deals! :D

I only spend around $1,500 for my whole setup.

I think you got a good deal on your setup as I spent $1600 to get my current one. :)

Whatever games you have I guess. CSS would be cool. Fear...Company of Heroes...Oblivion....Prey? This is the tough part though as Fear Combat (its free www.joinfear.com ) has no FPS measuring tool so you'd have to use fraps. COH does have one though. But like I said only if you have'em :D. Just looking for some real world stats from someone we trust! :P
