CPU Collection

A few weeks back i got the idea to start a cpu collection. Right now it only consists of cpus i had laying around at home and at work. I'm going to build onto it with cpus from ebay, thrift store, friends, etc.

I've got more to add but i havn't had a chance to go get them and catalog them.

Its a small collection, but its a start.

Thought you guys might like a look.

Well i currently have about 200 on my list, but thats mostly just desktop cpus.

I'm at 28 right now and i can probably hit 40 by the end of the week with one coming in from ebay and a few more and work.
 
Cool, it sounds like something i'd like to do but i bet most of the older ones are a bugger to get hold of.;)
 
good idea, i like itm, but one thing.... who massacred the athlon XP 2100 in the first pic, seriously, someone doesnt know how to apply thermal paste in the slightest...

thats a very good question. I found it in our junk room (for computer related junk) at work.

You poor, poor soul. :P

Those are the ones which, on the tower, had a turbo button that set the processor back to 8MHz to run older programs regularily. Otherwise they would run too fast!
