Hi,
Ive been having a problem lately with my PC overheating.
I'm just thinking of finding temporary solutions that might help
System temperature is fine but whenever cpu exceeds 60C. it will shut down. I am not overclocking my pc, and in several cases when I require high performance, I have to underclock it to prevent it from overheating.
Im using a MSI Dual Core Centre monitor cpu temperature, and although the max temperature is set at 80 degrees, it will still shut down before reaching it.
Is there a way to get my computer to comply with the maximum 80 degrees?
I know i probably need a new fan or heatsink etc. but if theres a way to increase my max temperature tolerance for the time being, it would be gladly appreciated
System
Windows 7
MSI K9VGMV motherboard
Amd athlon x2 4200
2GB Ram
nvidia 8600GTS
