I borrowed a X1950XT From a friend to try out in my computer to replace my 8600gt.
I took my video card out along with a few other cords (Just my front sound cords that i dont need because I have a sound card) and put his card in.
I also messed with my cpu(athlon 64 3400+) clock in the bios (changed value from 200 to 240) which I've never done before.
Whenever i got to my desktop it seemed abnormally slow and i just thought it was because I didnt have the video drivers. I downloaded the correct drivers and installed them and the problem didnt go away. I put my 8600gt back in and the problem still persists.
Random info that might help solve the problem:
When I'm in safe mode the processor uses the normal amount.
Operating system: Windows Vista Ultimate
Did i mess this cpu up with messing with the clock a little?
