D830 or E2200 for Very Budget Build

Hi,
I'm helping out a friend and putting together a system for him. I have an E2200 and a D 830 processor sitting around that I can use.

Which one would be a better performer in a basic, budget PC? I may OC the E2200 a bit if need be.

E2200 will be around twice as fast clock for clock as the netburst(pentium 4) based pentium D.

e2200 is a very good chip, i built 2 budget rigs using that cpu!

Yeah, pretty much anything pentium based is old news. looks good on paper, you know, 3.2Ghz dual-core, sweet. In practice, not so much, trust me. E2200 all the way

You know, I think we're going to throw an E5200 in it and be done.

I assume it will overclock nicely with an MSI P35-Neo2 FR.
