SIMP Member May 19, 2009 #1 Hi, I'm helping out a friend and putting together a system for him. I have an E2200 and a D 830 processor sitting around that I can use. Which one would be a better performer in a basic, budget PC? I may OC the E2200 a bit if need be. Thanks for your opinions on this.

bomberboysk Active Member May 19, 2009 #2 E2200 will be around twice as fast clock for clock as the netburst(pentium 4) based pentium D.
