dads pc

k, here is a new build (again :P)
changed:
- psu
- case (my dad like that case because it's normal :P)
- deleted gpu
- from samsung hdd to seagate hdd
- cpu (dad wanted that amd or an i7, he can be so stubborn...)

is it ok now?
only problem is that my dad wants to work with 2 monitors (sometimes)...

Looks a lot better now :). I'd try to convince your Dad to get the i5, tell him it will be cheaper :P. MSI make pretty good motherboards although usually I'd go for an Asus or a Gigabyte one.

I don't know, but he's gonna use this pc at least 4 years (6 years I think) without changing specs. So thats why he wants an i7...
But I'll see to the motherboards (I had an eye on the GIGABYTE GA-Z77-D3H board, but it's more expensive... should a GIGABYTE GA-Z77-DS3H be enough?)

Fair enough. What's your budget for your motherboard?
 
That zalman is reasonable, but really, he wants a normal case? Get a corsair 300R! Its so much better, one of the best budget cases. Stick with Antec, Corsair, NZXT, or Cooler Master! A i7 is NO BETTER!!!!!!!!! You could tell him that he could get better componants without a i7, or some not so great componants with a i7, like the parts you just picked out. A i7 has HT, and what is your dad doing? CAD? Because than it will make a difference (Even then, not so much), but if he isnt doing things like that, just some programming, tell him to get a i5, which they are both quad cores, just a couple very minor differences. Oh, yeah, were is Windows? Sorry if you said you had it, but I am guessing your dad is used to windows, so with that extra $100, get windows.

can't change it anymore, it's purchased sry... But it got nice reviews.
And wtf shoud he buy a 79 euro case when he can get ~an as good case for 41 euro?..
