why does it need 128 of video memory? i only got 256 here does this mean i have to buy a better graphics card to see video games looking good and a card that runs very good.

is this good that it needs 128 of video memory or is it bad

yeah you have a point but what if i fineed all the video memory to run stuff like emulators like the epsxe some things on that require a very lot of video memory now if i wanted to run some of those games in high settings would i be able to or would i not be able too because windows vista is gonna be using 128 of my video memory and that means i'll have the other 128 for games right? now what i fi wanted to use all my video memory i wouldnt be able too because windows wista will be using some of it right?

The only 9xxx series to support DX8 were the 9000 and the 9200.

The rest (9500, 9600, 9700, 9800) support DX9.
And many people still do have the 9000, 9200, and 9250 series :D

It needs at least 128MB of dedicated VRAM to run the Ultimate version of Vista with Aero. 256MB is more then 128, so your fine.
