Vista Premium Ready means that it has at least DX9, and has at least 128MB of dedicated memory.
Vista Capable means that it has at least DX9.
The only 9xxx series to support DX8 were the 9000 and the 9200.[-0MEGA-];454560 said:Many people have DX8 cards (most of the ATI 9xxx series)
And many people still do have the 9000, 9200, and 9250 seriesThe only 9xxx series to support DX8 were the 9000 and the 9200.
The rest (9500, 9600, 9700, 9800) support DX9.
It needs at least 128MB of dedicated VRAM to run the Ultimate version of Vista with Aero. 256MB is more then 128, so your fine.why does it need 128 of video memory? i only got 256 here does this mean i have to buy a better graphics card to see video games looking good and a card that runs very good.
is this good that it needs 128 of video memory or is it bad
so this means id be fine all the way til they say video games need 256 mb of v ram to run or higher then that?
