what do you mean?
im not challenging you, but like in terms of having the best card? or the price/performance ratio?
4870 owns so much right now, and if 300 is too much then the 9800GTX is being beaten by the 4850.I recommend the 9800 GTX...Just got mine in and WOW, I can tell a difference from the 8800 GTX I had. EVGA e-mailed me and told me to send in my 8800 GTX and they would mail me the new 9800 GTX. Running Call Of Duty 4 at max everything 1600x1080 (my screens max resolution)and I am pulling 65-80 FPS. Very impressed with this cardAnd it is only $200 on newegg...thats a deal that will be hard to beat with price
erformance ratio!
They are right though...for $300 dollars you can get an ATI based 4870...thats one bad card! People are complaining about drivers for it right now...but ATI will get them out.

Oh yeah.LOl I like Nvidia more than ATi but you can get a HD 4870 for less and it kick the 8800Ultra behind![]()
HD4850.That card is way expensive. Get the HD4870, it kicks its......
Heck, even the HD4850 ($199) would give it some competition.
Ati FTWOr a 4850 for 150-200. I'd say that's the best deal.
I'm sorry but.go for the 9800 GTX...cheaper good enough and from nvidia [;
Ati is winnin .nVidia isn't the best anymore....
Get the HD4850You can get 9800GTX for less than half the price of 8800Ultra
Ati !Price/performance = ATi
Best of the best = nVidia
Best choice in your situation: HD4870

Yup nVidia really has to catch up quick.4870 owns so much right now, and if 300 is too much then the 9800GTX is being beaten by the 4850.
