It is if you like your stuff organized and easy to find when you have a lot of files in one particular folder; such as pictures>new year>christmas.... movies>title>movie files... music>artist>music files.. etc..Is it better to have files divided into subfolders rather than all in one folder?
I don't think it would, probably just that delay that you have to double-click again to get to that subfolder. However, if someone was to test this out or soemthing, it could be.Does it do anything to loading speed?
No, the limit should only be based upon your hdd itself. When it get's full, then that's when you wont be able to fit anything else.Is there a limit to how many files you can have in one folder? I'm asking using Windows XP.
Oh if you do as I did make sure you have ALOT of spare time on your hands because it took me forever, but having a broken leg and not being able to move much made it a but easier to find to time
