i got 2 12'' uv cathodes that i still have to put in, waiting until system is installed. i was thinking about that tubing, or at least the metal coil that goes around the tubing. kinda too late now, unless i want to cut the old tubing off and start over. no fill port on top, radiator takes up most of the top. i just use the squeeze bottle that came with the coolant. i wonder how hard it's gonna be to install the video cards with everything connected like it is.

oh yeah, it'll just take a bunch of wraps, lol. i think i'll get me some. i'm not having any kink issues, but i don't want any down the road, plus it looks good.

I dont think youre gonna have much luck conneting your water blocks to your raphics cards like it is, i think youll have to drain your loop first and take it apart.

Also that res looks like it has aluminium in it, mixing metals isnt a good idea, do you you have any anti corrsive agents in your fluid??

Out of interest, why did you use an old board to power the pump on lol ?

Looks like a well thought out loop though congrats

yeah, the only thing touching the coolant in the res is the fittings. the bottle of coolant says: anti-freezing, anti-rusting, and water scale reducing. it's thermaltake stuff. i just realized the expiration date on the bottle says 1-3-08, is that a big deal?

originally, i made a mock setup using the old board, just so i could mark where to drill mounting holes, and to check for fit, stuff like that. then once i set everything up, i figured it would be easier and safer to run it that way in case it leaked. how would you have done it?

i've been looking at these card coolers and i believe i can do it without unhooking anything. kind of defeats the purpose of running a leak test if i take it back apart again. the sli tube has a swivel in it, i can just turn it out of the way to get to the bottom card.
