yeah, the only thing touching the coolant in the res is the fittings. the bottle of coolant says: anti-freezing, anti-rusting, and water scale reducing. it's thermaltake stuff. i just realized the expiration date on the bottle says 1-3-08, is that a big deal?
originally, i made a mock setup using the old board, just so i could mark where to drill mounting holes, and to check for fit, stuff like that. then once i set everything up, i figured it would be easier and safer to run it that way in case it leaked. how would you have done it?
i've been looking at these card coolers and i believe i can do it without unhooking anything. kind of defeats the purpose of running a leak test if i take it back apart again. the sli tube has a swivel in it, i can just turn it out of the way to get to the bottom card.
