that board is fine, but if you don't want sli, you could probably a cheaper board with only 1 pci-e x16 slot.

think ill go with http://www.ebuyer.com/product/129125/show_product_specifications?spectype=extended will that support the 8800 gts and is that board good enough or is there a better one for around the same price?

Do NOT get a Abit board, I have had nothing buy trouble with them! Stick with Gigabyte... P35-DS3L. Same chipset.

Any motherboard with a PCI-E x16 or PCI-E 2.0 slot will support a 8800.

And if you want to SLi... that's a different story (although I don't recommend that)
