I am able to get hdd, mobo, cd/dvd drive detected but I am not able to reformat or load windows.I don't think it is, No.
Sometimes your MOBO will come with software to do it through Windows but the main method is with a floppy.
You should use BIOS flashing as the extreme last attempt though.
Are these errors coming up in the first phase on the Windows installation - when it copies the files necessary for the setup.
If so, faulty memory is the most common cause. I'd suggest you try running memtest first.
Did not know that :/Why would you want to flash your motherboard with a cd rom? I think you can with a USB drive, you don't HAVE to use a floppy.
Ive placed the hdd in another system and windows perfectly loads....Umm how about installing windows on another system and then try to load it into that one? If you keep getting those error then your I/O interface might be stuffed.
