check that out, 70watts for core duo, 74watts for athlon X2 3800+
one thing i thought was weird was core duo did do its fair share of outperforming the X2 3800+... but the X2 3800+ also did its fair share of outperforming the core duo.
if you're getting a laptop, i guess you might consider an AMD desktop proc as well as an intel desktop proc then
not to mention the core duo they used was at a higher clock speed, 2.16ghz vs. 2.0ghz.
they also compared how much a high(er) end video card would effect power usage.
