Just like Cromewell said but also do realize older AthlonXP mobos are 1:1 locked for the CPU/DRAM so your memory might be downclocked as wellwill a processor with a 400mhz FSB run on a motherboard that only supports up to 333mhz?

If im not mistekn the 2900 and 3100 (sometimes noted with the word 'pro') are OEM/questionable chips) ... questionable because often they are pre-OCd and stuff. Grab the Central Brain Identifier from http://cbid.amdclub.ru/ and post a screenshot of the Processor tabWhat 2900+ has 400fsb? Is it a barton?
Now unless you've OCd it the "FSB" is 333Mhzalso, I set the EXT. Clock to 166mhz... I think thats right
Thats cuz the manual encompases all those mobos (hehe)That's two different chipsets but anyhow it should work.
